Travelers Motel

I just got back from visiting the Travelers Motel.  I wanted to check the rooms to see how they are.  It is an older motel--first constructed as a Travelodge.  The rooms are very clean and kept up.  Each room has a refrigerator and microwave, free wifi, a pool, and a cafe on the premises.  It is on 19th St. and A Avenue--within walking distance of 858.  There is a fun bar across the street (at least I have heard it is fun as in my current job I don't frequent "fun" places.)

Just mention the Scott Family Reunion.  Single rooms are $45 and double rooms are $50.  Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Pat Scott Rush had made some reservations at the Best Western.  I stopped in the other day and they have limited rooms left and they are all one bed rooms.  I believe the rates there are $79 a night.  It is a new place and very nice.  They have to save a certain number of rooms for Border Patrol, etc., so they aren't as flexible.
